Holiday Highlights: Halloween 2023

Welcome to Holiday Highlights! During various holidays, we'll talk about songs that fit the holiday. Our first one together is Halloween! So... Let's just go ahead and get this out of the way:

"Thriller" is a Halloween staple, of course. With that said, let's celebrate Halloween!

1. Off the Wall by Michael Jackson

Another Michael staple. My mom had no idea this song existed which is weird because she lived through peak Jackson. I, however, heard this song a long time ago and liked it and thought it was cool. The creepy vibes in the beginning are what makes this a Halloween song. 

2. THE VILLAIN'S NIGHT by IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls

It's just a cool Halloween vibe song. Idolm@ster and Cinderella Girls rarely miss. 

3. Monster Mash by Bobby "Boris" Pickett

Obligatory "Monster Mash."

4. Halloween Night by AKB48

Shamelessly promoting my favorite idol group here with a killer song. No big deal.

5. Disturbia by Rihanna

This will never not be a hot song.
