Holiday Highlights: Thanksgiving 2023

    So some coworkers and I were talking about how Christmas is superior in every way to Thanksgiving, and another coworker was upset because he loves Thanksgiving. Which is inspiring this Holiday Highlight on Thanksgiving because he found some Thanksgiving songs though they weren't blatantly about the holiday.

    Instead, we're probably just going to talk about songs that center around being thankful and food. As I guess that's what Thanksgiving boils down to instead of just being a precursor for Christmas. 

1. "Thank You" by Dido

    A chill song to digest a heavy meal to, "Thank You" is pleasing goodness. Dido has such a beautiful voice. I actually only know of this song because of Eminem. Though, I definitely would not describe "Stan" as a Thanksgiving song. So we are going to stick to this. 

2. "I've Got Plenty to Be Thankful For" by Bing Crosby

    Possibly best known by Gen X onwards for his Christmas outings and films, Bing Crosby has one of the sexiest voices ever. As is displayed on this finger-wagging number. This isn't the best selling single of all time, "White Christmas" by Crosby is (we Christmas lovers always win), but it works as a happy Thanksgiving song. 

3. "The Thanksgiving Song" by Adam Sandler

    My Dad told me about this one. Hahaha Thanks, Adam Sandler for an actual Thanksgiving song!
