Song Spotlight: Katy Perry's "LIFETIMES"

Katy Perry has lost her touch, I'm afraid. After quickly abandoning "Woman's World," Perry is back with the much improved "LIFETIMES." It's not lead single material, but neither was "Woman's World." Musically, "LIFETIMES" is wayyy better. Seriously. It's catchy at times. Where it faulters at, though, is its lyrics. It's so weak lyrically it's almost mind-numbing. Perry may have never been an introspective lyricist, but "Teenage Dream," "Bon Appetit," and "Wide Awake" have lyrics that are fantastic and accomplish their respective jobs.
She needs a better cowriter. Perhaps Bonnie McKee can come back?
Like the dance pop direction though.
